During the course of 2013, I’ll be making an illustrated version of Samuel Taylor Coleridge’s Rime of the Ancient Mariner.  The poem occurs in seven parts, and illustrated at a rate of roughly one page per stanza, the project will comprise 144 pages of artwork, as well as a few more to serve as title pages, section leads, and so forth.  It’s a work-in-progress, so the pages presented here are “raw” works-- uncolored ink drawings, with a pencil underdrawing.  Some finished, colored pages should show up as I make progress on the project!
